Andrew Exum lectures on: "God or Country? Balancing Faith and National Service in America" and "American's Challenge in Afghanistan: The Politics and Strategy of Our War in Central Asia"

Andrew Exum is a Fellow with the Center for a New American Security and is widely regarded as one of the leading experts on counterinsurgency. Most recently, Exum served as an advisor on the CENTCOM Assessment Team and as a civilian advisor to Gen. Stanley McChrystal in Afghanistan. He is the author of one book, This Man's Army: A Soldier's Story from the Frontlines of the War on Terror (Gotham, 2004) and has published opinion pieces in The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Guardian and many other newspapers.
